FoxFire began in one of Alpine’s first homes, built in the 1800s. When Steve and Lisa Malcolm moved to Alpine in 2010, they envisioned a true dining destination. Over the years, they expanded, adding a saloon, deck seating, and in 2025, an indoor stage and dining room. Today, FoxFire is known for seasonally inspired cuisine, from in-house sauce pizzas to Lisa’s famous cheesecake. With a rustic bar, dog-friendly atmosphere, and an ever-evolving menu, it’s the perfect place to sip, savor, and unwind.

In the spring of 2025, FoxFire unveiled its new indoor stage and dining room, offering a stunning venue for weddings, family reunions, rehearsal dinners, and other gatherings, with seating for up to 125 guests. Enjoy the newly remodeled "Brides Room" for private preparations, a stocked bar, and customizable menus. With a mountain lodge vibe, FoxFire is the perfect setting for your western wedding at an affordable price. Alpine's cool climate makes it an ideal location, even in summer. Guests can choose from local cabins, motels, and VRBOs, while you can use our stage for your DJ or band.

We choose to eat here because it has outdoor seating where we could bring our dog. However, we were allowed inside the door since one of our party was soaked from riding in the rain and cold. The food was great and servers were friendly and even brought water and a Milkbone dog biscuit for our dog. The owner was there with his dog and had a nice conversation with us

Such a cute place! The honey hot jalapeno pizza on the appetizer menu was our absolute favorite!! Service was great! Cozy and welcoming! Will definitely come back every time we visit!

Great little restaurant in the mountains. We sat outside and had a single guitar player up on stage. The inside area had a wide opening out to the patio and band area. Food and service were good. Looks like a full band was to play later.

My husband and I had a great evening here. The weather was beautiful. We took our dogs with us and sat on the patio. The owner, Lisa was a delight. We had the blackened chicken fettucini and mushroom ravioli, both were excellent!
